I tore through this in a day. Something a little different (although it did put me in mind of Sunset Blvd, one of my favorite classics). Follows 3 friends who come to Hollywood in the late 20’s and into the early 30’s, with a wonderful feel for all of them trying to break into the business in the heart of Hollywood’s golden years. Great feel for the era, especially dealing with the mindsets of the time regarding Prohibition, homosexuality, and women’s freedoms.
Well written, very few errors, engaging characters. I would certainly love to see the rest of the series.
