First, a shameless plug about my next event, which in keeping with the title of this, is very much my kind of show.

A somewhat dark-themed event, a bit horror, a bit goth, with very cool vendors. The last one had live music but I’m not sure if it will this time around. Sept 29th is the date, best see you there!

So … What do I love?

Supernatural (both the show and in general), gaming (RPGs, first-person shooters not so much), animals (kitties especially), shiny things.

Godzilla and Harryhausen movies, hard rock and hard classical. Coffee, coffee, coffee, but never iced. Mexican food and steak still mooing and seafood.

Dragons, and D&D, and this is all reflected in my art.

The Tarot, astrology, mythology…

And lastly, while I don’t follow celebrities like a lot of people do, there are a few I like, and/or respect. Alex Guarnaschelli, and Tim Curry. Most of the Marvel actors. David Hyde Pierce (Niles and Sir Robin). But, I haven’t drawn any of them (I could do some Frank N Furter pics).

Today’s vent blip or food for thought: would you be on a reality show like MasterChef? For that at a prize, would you allow yourself to be berated and ridiculed by judges, and permit yourself to be edited and quoted, to be depicted as a character, some stereotype, to be a fan favorite or a villain? Would it be worth it to you, all this and on national TV, to shoot for the prize?
